Fine Dining in a Historical Atmosphere

This remarkable building, Gabriel’s Inn, was constructed in 1862 and occupied by six Welsh families who had worked in the quarries that settled the village in 1831. In 1896, Dr. George H. Riggs founded a sanitarium here "for the care and treatment of Nervous and Mental Disease of women." In 1968, Guy Gabriel bought the property and turned it into Gabriel’s French Provincial Inn. He raised his family here as well as many of the produces and meats used the restaurant. In December of 1998, the DeLawder family purchased the property, and in keeping with Mr. Gabriel’s tradition, they intend to raise their family here and have returned Gabriel’s Inn into the fine dining establishment that it is known for.

At Gabriel’s Inn, they take pride in preparing everything fresh and to order. If you have a special request is not on their menu, their skilled chef will be happy to accommodate you. They are committed to providing a relaxing and pleasurable dining experience where you will enjoy everything from the fine wine and exceptional fare to the consummate service and comfortable atmosphere.
